It has been a long time there is no communication from the council of the TGSOGUS.
It was a great pleasure and overwhelming joy to take the charge of TGSOGUS Presidentship in Nizamabad from Dr SeethaRamaiah.
Having taken the reins of Presidentship of TGSOGUS, let me comment about the 36th TGSOGUS conference at Nizamabad.
It was an excellent organisation of the conference by NUS lead by the Organising Secretary Dr Raghavender, Organising Chairman Dr Dayaker and Dr Anand who meticulously planned and conducted the conference.
Our honourary secretary, Dr G. Srinivasa Rao excellently sketched and carved the academic program and made it successful with the devine blessings of goddess Saraswathi. The Ranganath Rao oration by Sudhir Kumar Rawal, Medico legal session by Telangana Medical Council and Trip to Basar Saraswati temple were the great highlights of the conference.
As decided by the general body, Dr Bhargav Vardhan Reddy of Nandyal has taken up the challenge of conducting 37th TGSOGUS conference at Nandyal, a place, that elected great politicians for the service of the country. The same place is in proximity to many auspicious pilgrimage places. All the preparations for the event are going on well.
As the TGSOGUS President, I had the opportunity of taking part in important decisions of ASU as an ex officio council member. This year's annual conference of ASU is being conducted in Vijayawada on 11th, 12th and 13th July 2025 by Dr. K. Dheeraj. He and his team are making the arrangements in an excellent way to make it a grand success.
As the 2025 ASU Conference is going to be memorable, let all the TGSOGUS members and PG students attend the same in large numbers to make it a grand success.
As you all know, the 2024 GBM at Nizamabad entrusted me the job of knowing the pulse of AP TGSOGUS (excluding TS) members about the division of our association in to two (AP and TS as separate bodies). My constituted comittee shall look in to the same in the near future by conducting the voting. Division process shall be taken up only when majority of the voted opt for it.
As the thoughts of reclaiming the loosing areas of urology is picking up, there are some confrontations among the clinicians of other speciality and urologists. On and off such issues are being taken up by the association and presented to the state medical council for a positive solution.
The NIMS team lead by Rahul Devaraj were to conduct the 2025 Ranganath Rao midterm work shop, however the same is being conducted at Narketpally Kamineni on 21st June 2025 by Dr PVLN Murthy garu, an experienced urology teacher on the theme of "Diseased Donor Renal Transplantation" with the involvement of reputed national faculty. It is going to be definitely an academic feast. Our TGSOGUS council is actively interacting with him about the organisation of the same. Let us all participate in good numbers and make it a great success. Hoping to see you in Narketpally on 21st June 2025.
